For over a century, we've been more than just a marketplace.
Established in 1922, Fulton Street Market has connected farmers, food creators, and artists to the community for over 100 years!
The market is open year-round and split into two six-month seasons:
Main Season
May - October
Wednesday | Friday | Saturday
8 AM - 2 PM
Second Season
November - April
Saturdays
10 AM - 1 PM
Each season provides a diverse array of products, including fruits and veggies, dairy and meat, snacks and desserts, hot and prepared food, and handmade arts and crafts.

We accept several food assistance programs that increase our community's access to fresh, healthy, nutritious food.
EBT/Bridge Card
Visit the Welcome Desk to convert EBT funds into SNAP tokens that can be used with all Market vendors.
Double Up Food Bucks
In addition to SNAP tokens, you will also receive up to a $20 match in Food Bucks, which can be used on fresh produce.
Senior Market Fresh
Free nutrition education and $25 in coupons for fresh produce, and other healthy foods.
Food Recovery Program
Increasing food access and reducing food waste
Over 52,000 pounds of produce donated since 2022. Produce donations are collected at the end of Saturday markets and brought to the Heartside neighborhood to be distributed free of charge to the community.

Parking
The Market has over 100 customer parking spots located on the property. When the lot fills up, extra parking spaces are available across Fuller Street at the Salvation Army (Saturdays only) or along several nearby streets, including Fountain and Fitzhugh.
Neighbors are encouraged to ride their bikes to the Market, equipped with several bike racks for easy access.
Biking
Ride the Rapid
We are located on Route 14, stopping directly outside the Market Headhouse.
Find your route on The Rapid! A 10 minute walk from Rapid Bus Routes 5, 6, 13, & 19 will get you to the Market. The property is surrounded by residential housing, so it’s within walking distance for Grand Rapids neighbors.
