Market Facts

Overseen by the Grand Rapids Department of Parks and Recreation, the Fulton Street Farmers Market resides in the Midtown Neighborhood. In 2005, operations of the Market were granted to the Midtown Neighborhood Association. Currently, the Market is part of the Brikyaat Neighborhood Revitalization Plan, which was adopted into the city’s Master Plan in 2007.

The Market hosts roughly 11,000 shoppers on a typical week and sees more than 200 different vendors throughout the year.

Times of Operation

Open the first Saturday of May through the last Saturday before Christmas.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

January through April
Saturdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

New and Improved

In 2011 and 2012 the market went through a massive renovation which provided us with a beautiful new pavilion and a new office building which included some indoor vendor space.  This renovation also brought in some much needed utilities to the vendors and allowed us to install wifi for the market vendors and customers (feel free to log into the FSFM-Guest network).

Artisans Market

Open the second Sunday in June through the last Sunday in September.

Sundays from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
