4 cups Basil Leaves
4 Garlic Cloves
½ Cup Toasted Nuts (Pine, Almonds, Walnuts, ETC.)
½ Cup Pecorino or Parmesan Cheese
1 Tsp. Coarse or Kosher Salt
½ Cup Italian Parsley
¾ Cup Olive Oil
In a food processor or blender add basil, garlic, nuts, parsley and salt with half the oil. Process while adding additional oil to make a smooth paste. Add cheese and pulse until you reach desired consistency, Add immediately to favorite pasta, use as pizza sauce, dip for bread or freeze for later use.
